Kosher Food


Hillel at Miami University keeps a kosher kitchen on the lower level, and offers kosher meals at a minimum of one time a week (Friday night), but usually 2-3 times a week. During Passover, Hillel offers two meals a day in a completely kosher-for-Passover building.

Hillel at Miami is happy to help you acquire kosher food. If you would like to eat added kosher meals at Hillel during the week or have extra kosher meat prepared for you when regular meals are made, we are happy to help you. Hillel will assist you in getting a fair price. In addition, Hillel can special order kosher food from area vendors at reasonable prices.

In the Oxford community, Kosher food is also available. Both Wal-Mart and Kroger have Hebrew National hot dogs in stock. Kroger has a kosher area inside its International aisle. Kroger can also “special order” bags of frozen chicken and a few other select items available upon request. During Passover, Kroger does stock several kosher-for-Passover items. If anything specific is desired, please let Hillel know by NOVEMBER and they may be able to order it for you.

Oxford

Glatt kosher microwave dinners  are now availalbe in Spring Street Market at the Shriver center. They are in the corner of the freezer section.


Cincinnati Area

Blue Ash, a community thirty-five minutes away, has a prototype Kroger with a complete Kosher area, including both non-perishable and frozen items such as steak, beef, and chicken.
