Family Weekend at Miami University
October 3-5, 2008
Hillel Bed & Breakfast
If you need a place to stay during Family Weekend, the Oxford Jewish Community generously hosts a Bed & Breakfast for the weekend with proceeds going to Hillel. The cost is $54.00 per person per night and is a donation to the Hillel Foundation. Bed & Breakfast is a first come, first served offer, and reservations are not final until payment is received.
Hillel Activities
All activities will occur at Hillel located at 11 East Walnut Street - 1 ? blocks from campus, uptown Oxford, across from BW3s.
Parents'/Family Weekend Auction at Hillel*
Hillel is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors is sponsoring a goods and services auction during Family Weekend. Bid on items for your student, including gift certificates for uptown businesses, jewelry, bicycles, an iPod, and many iPod accessories. Support Hillel and help your Miami student! The auction will begin at 5:30 on Friday and end at noon on Sunday. If you prefer not to bid or pay on the Sabbath, please contact the office to participate.
Friday, October 3, 2008 - Shabbat/Sukkot Services & Free Dinner*
We welcome you to join our spirited Shabbat community for a student-led service at 6pm. The service will be followed at 7 by a free home-cooked Shabbat dinner including challah and matzah ball soup! (Sponsored by Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.)

Please join us in our 27th Annual Family Weekend Brunch:

* This is an opportunity to enjoy a nice brunch, to explore the Hillel building, and to learn about Jewish life at Miami.
* Brunch will include bagels, blintzes, salads, cheeses, veggies, fruit, pastries . . . !

* Dinner is from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM at Hillel, with plenty of time to eat and attend evening events.
