Christmas Dinner Call-Out
|
|
|
Can you help us feed the hungry in our community this Christmas day? The second annual Community Christmas Dinner, sponsored by the Oxford Jewish Community and Friends, will be December 25th from 2-4 pm at Faith Lutheran Church on Campus Avenue. You can: cook food for the meal, set up, serve food, warm/prepare food at the church, or clean up. We have plenty of freezer space, so even if you'll be out of town, we can thaw/reheat as needed. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. We also ask that you bring your food in disposable or reusable containers that can be donated to the church for similar meals.
Please choose from this list:
Food needs: meat, starch, vegetables, salad, desserts, rolls, beverages, paper products
Volunteer needs:
12:30 - 2:00 set up
2:00 - 4:00 serve / food prep
4:00 - 5:30 clean up
drivers (to shuttle to and from Family Resource Center on College CornerPike): 1:30 to 2:30, and 3:30 to 4:30
Please email wasburlh@muohio.edu if you are interested in signing up for a specific item. We thank you again for all your help-- we couldn't do this without you!
Sincerely,
Leah Wasburn-Moses, Amy Greenbaum, and Geri Sue Sandor
