KRAV MAGA: the official hand-to-hand combat system of the Israeli Defense Forces.

Moshe Katz is a self defense instructor with a fourth degree black belt in the Israeli martial art of Krav Maga. He has been teaching since 1993, and is the only 4th degree black belt certified by Sensei Itay Gil. In addition to his school, he teaches self-defense to the Jerusalem Police force, the Women's Martial Arts Association, and a basic street survival course to college groups. Moshe spent many years as a college campus activist and he combines that experience with his martial arts training to form a program uniquely suited to students needs.

Pirkei Avot: Ethics from Sinai

Just what is ethics anyway? Few of us have the time (or the patience) to sit through an ethics course in college. So why not come and here what Judaism has to say about it? A Pirkei Avot: Ethics from Sinai learning and discussion group is starting up this Tuesday at 7:15 at Hillel. Guaranteed ethical improvement or...well, like we said, it's guaranteed! No previous knowledge required. Lead by Travis Gilbert

Blanket Buddies Movie Night

Come quilt with us! We make simple quilts for the children at Ronald McDonald House, and you can help. No sewing experience is necessary, we can teach you how to sew. We now have three sewing machines, so there is plenty for everyone to do!
We will also be watching a movie during the meeting. Come to quilt, just watch the movie, or do both. If there is a movie you want to watch, bring it!
We will be meeting Thursday from 7-10pm at Hillel. Email Sarah (schreism@muohio.edu) if you have any questions and join our facebook group, Miami University Blanket Buddies.

Free DAC Lunch

On November 10 from 11:30am -1:30 pm, DAC will be hosting MIXITUP, a free lunch/discussion in the Great Room (MacMillan.) E-mail Eloiza Domingo-Snyder (dominge@muohio.edu) for a coupon in order to attend.
