Sunday, April 5th, meet at Hillel at 3:00 pm and head down to Junlge Jims to get food for Passover.  Rides will be provided.

Scott Fried will be coming to Miami April  2-3 and giving several lectures on the topic of  "AIDS, LOVE, & STAYING ALIVE"
Lectures Include:
Thursday, April 2 at 7 in McGuffey 322
Friday, April 3 from 12-1 at Lights on Campus (16 S. Campus)
Friday, April 3 from 4-6 at MacMillan Hall, leading a lecture and discussion called "AIDS & THE JEWISH STUDENT"
Friday, April 3 at 6 he will be joining us for services and dinner.
Saturday, April 4 at 9:30 am, Scott will be kicking off Spectrum's Awareness Week

Informational Movie
 
Currently we are working on putting together several short videos about Hillel here at Miami University for prospective students. The videos will contain personal experiences as well as answers to commonly asked questions about Hillel and the Jewish community here on campus.
 
We are hoping you will be interested in working with us on these videos.

AISEC "Rites of Passage"
 
AISEC is looking for pictures of trips, marriages, bar/bat mitzvahs, etc. depicting "rites of passage."

Passover Sedars and Meals
Sedars:
First Sedar: April 8, 2009 at 6 pm at Oxford Community Arts Center (10 S. College)
Second Sedar: April 9, 2009 at 6 pm at Hillel (11 E. Walnut)
 
Meals: April 10-16 at Hillel (11 E. Walnut St.)
Brunch: 10:30 am - 1 pm
Dinner: 5pm-7pm
April 10th: Free Shabbat Dinner (services at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm)
April 16th: Free "Yeast Feast" 8 pm
 
Brunches will be dairy and include such items as tuna or egg salads, cheese, cottage cheese, veggies, matzah pizza or fried matzah, eggs, potato bar, drinks and sweets.
 
Dinners may offer turkey, brisket, meatloaf, salmon patties, baked or barbeque chicken, soups, salad, potatoes and veggies.
 
Menus subject to change.  Vegetarian options available upon request.
 
Miami University provides Kosher products and Kosher for Passover style options on
campus. Refer to Dining  Services for more information.
 
 
Attention Meal Plan holders:  If you eat Passover meals at Hillel and NOT in the dining hall, Dining Services will reimburse your Passport account.  Please provide the number on the reverse side of this card.  Questions?  Call Lisa at 523-5190.
 
Suggested Meal Donations:                 
Pesach Pass:  $116  (20% savings): All meals (2 Seders, 8 brunches, 6 dinners)
Individual Meals for Students:  Sedar- $20 each, Brunch- $6 each, Dinner- $8 each
Individual Meals for Community Members: Sedar- $36 each, Children 12 & Under- $18 each
