Are you interested in leading some part of services for the High Holidays? Hillel is looking for people to read Torah, blow shofar, or read prayers. We are also interested in your ideas on progressive service ideas! If you're interested, contact Tal at director@muhillel.org.

Calling All Actors!
OXAct is presenting Fiddler on the Roof. We are still in need of crew people and possible even 1 or 2 males.
 
The performance are at the end of October and beginning of November.

American Jewish World Service Events
 Ruth Messinger from American Jewish World Service will be in Cincinnati next Sunday October 12-Monday October 13.
 
We would love for students to join us for two events on Sunday at 9:30 AM at Congregation Beth Adam and next Monday at 9:30AM at Hebrew Union College.

Volunteers Needed for Fall Hillel-a-thon
Volunteeers are needed to make phone calls for Hillel and be part of our Fall 2008 Hillel-a-thon. 
 
Volunteers needed from 7-8:30 pm for:
Wednesday, Oct. 15
Thursday, Oct. 16
Monday, Oct. 20
Tuesday, Oct. 21
Wednesday, Oct. 22
Thursday, Oct. 23

No experience is needed, just a willingness to talk about the wonderful things happening at Hillel. 

Two callers will be needed each night.
Snacks will be provided and prizes for the highest total donations each night will be given.

We Need Your Input
Hillel will be creating a mural in the living room area and want to include some great quotes.  
 
These quotes can be in English or Hebrew.  We are looking for fun, meaningful quotes that you want incorporated into the design.

AJS Elections
AJS will be holding elections for the Executive Board positions of: Executive Director of Programming, Social and Cultural Director, Treasurer, Secretary, and Religious Facilitator.

Elections will be held on October 22nd at 8 pm at Hillel.
