Registration closes by February 28th. (Taglit-Birthright Israel reserves the right to close registration even earlier.) Your $250 deposit is completely refundable.

Mashuganah Hookah Night- It's the middle of February and what do we want to do?  We want to smoke Hookah!!  If anyone's crazy enough to come out in this cold winter weather and get crazy then come to Mashuganah Hookah Night at Hillel on Thursday, February 21!  This wonderful CRAZY event starts at 8:30 PM.  Hope to see you there, if you dare...

Shabbat Experience at Miami
FREE Dinner & Services Every Week
Due to President's Day, Shabbat services and dinner will be at Amy Greenbaum's home this week (not at Hillel). If you plan on attending, you must RSVP to Amy (513-523-5190) by Wednesday 2/13, so she will know how many people to prepare for.
WANTED: Student Workers for Hillel-a-Thon
Do you value Hillel and what it offers?  Do you want to tell others about it?  Then, the Hillel-a-thon is for you!  What is a Hillel-a-thon you ask?  Hillel-a-thon is a calling campaign to prospective donors and donors to ask them to support Hillel.  You will be provided with training, a script and food during working hours.  No experience is needed, except the ability to talk on the phone.  The pay is $7.00/hour.  Please contact Lisa at Hillel for more information (513-523-5190 or development@muhillel.org). Positions are available for spring and summer.

March 16-23, 2008
Join Illinois students for a most spectacular trip to Kiev, Ukraine. This program is designed for those who care about tzedek (social justice) and a worldwide Jewish community. You will have a chance to explore the city with students from Kiev Hillel as well as volunteer, sing and talk with youth groups and elderly survivors of the Holocaust, kindergarteners and shut-ins. You will meet people in communities who never had the opportunity to experience Judaism as children. The cost to students will be $300. For more information visit
