MUvement The
student organization called the MUvement, a social
group dedicated to creating events, projects, etc.,
that helps make Miami's campus feel more inclusive
needs your help! They are working on a collage that
represents the diverse backgrounds and lives that
students bring to Miami. On Hillel's website is a
document titled "Side By Side", it will be used as
the foundation for their collage project. What
makes this collage special is that the students are
not only the source of inspiration, but ultimately,
you will also be the artists. However, what they
need are contributors. So please, visit the
website, fill it out and bring it to one of their
meetings. Meetings are every Thursdays at 8 p.m.
in Laws 018 (which is in the basement) until the
end of the semester to create ample opportunities.
Contact Justin
Rifis, President of the MUvement, with any
questions.
Pledge An Hour-
Help Volunteer to Repair the
World One of our donors was so
inspired by our efforts that she offered a challenge
grant, giving Hillel's Tzedek program $1 for every
new person who volunteers through our Pledge an Hour
campaign, up to $10,000. The goal of this
campaign is to help repair the world by encouraging
people to volunteer some time, making a difference
in their community or in the world. It doesn't take
much, whether you spend an hour changing light bulbs
in your home to eco-friendly ones, or visit the sick
in the hospital.
And now, giving just an hour of your time can help
fund some of Hillel's social justice activities on
campus.

An Hour HERE!
