-On Monday, Septeber 19, 2005 at 5 pm, Gil Hoffman will speak on behalf of Miami Students for Israel. His speech is titled an "Insider's Look into the Withdrawl from the Gaza Strip." Gil Hoffman is the political correspondent and columnist for The Jerusalem Post, the Middle East's leading English daily. Well-connected to Israeli and Palestinian political leaders, Hoffman has interviewed Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and every major figure across the Israeli political spectrum, and has been interviewed by top media outlets on 6 continents. **Important information regarding religious services & class attendance, projects and exams. Miami University has a policy providing for students to miss class and to seek arrangements for coursework due to significant religious holidays. This policy requires that you submit information to each professor within the first two weeks of class. Please go to this link (forthcoming) on our webpage for a letter you can print out and take to each professor so that you will qualify for an excused absence for the High Holy Days. Our two story building housing a tv lounge and game room, computer lab, and library is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and during program hours. If you have a car and are planning to drive to Hillel programs and meetings, you must register your car with Paula. Unauthorized cars parked in our parking lot will be ticketed.
