Volunteers could travel together from Oxford to Cincinnati once or twice a month. E-mail muhillel@muhillel.org if you are interested in participating in this important project.

The 16th Annual Conference on Hunger and Homelessness: BUILDING A STRONGER COUNTRY, Trinity College, Hartford, CT, October 31-November 2, 2003
The Conference will kick off a year of action to build strong communities and a stronger county by bringing together over 400 students from across the country to learn more about the issues of hunger and homelessness, gain valuable leadership skills and ideas, and help them launch programs in their own communities. Facing another year of budget shortfalls and funding cuts to vital programs, emergency service providers find themselves unable to fill the gap between government assistance and charitable contributions. By attending the conference, you will learn the skills necessary to build a strong community and a stronger country. This year&Mac226;s conference highlights include more than 60 exciting workshops, issue-based panel discussions, the Oxfam Hunger Banquet, the Faces of Homelessness Panel, a service plunge in Hartford, political actions and more. We are very excited to have Anuradha Mittal, the Co-Director of Food First (a member-supported, progressive, nonprofit 'peoples' think tank and education-for-action center), as our keynote speaker. Registration for the conference has already begun. So, visit www.studentsagainsthunger.org for more information. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-664-8647.
