THIS WEEK AT HILLEL: JEWISH AWARENESS MONTH:
Today (10/8): PB JAM, 11:00 - 3:00 pm outside of Shriver

Thursday, (10/9): Decorate the Sukkah, 6:15 pm at Hillel

Thursday, (10/9): Mel Brooks Movie Night: Blazing Saddles, 7:00 pm at Hillel

Friday, (10/10): Lunch with Rose Kowel, program assistant for KESHER (the Reform Movement's College organization) 12:00 pm at Hillel.

Friday, (10/10): Shabbat service at 6:00 pm followed by dinner. Sukkot begins. Parents are welcome!

Saturday, (10/11): Parents Weekend Brunch, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Hillel.

Monday, (10/13): Seniors and Grad Students Wine and horsdevours in the Sukkah at 7:00 pm

PARENT'S WEEKEND:
Parents Weekend is October 10-12, 2003. If your parents still need a place to stay, Hillel offers a Bed and Breakfast service in partnership with the Jewish community of Oxford. The cost is $50.00 per night per person and is a donation to Hillel. Beds are offered on a first come, first served basis, so have your parents sign-up early! Don't forget about our Parent's Weekend Brunch on Saturday, October 11, 2003 from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm at Hillel. Bring your parents and join us for the blintzes, bagels, and all the fixings. The brunch costs $7.50 per non-student person if you sign-up in advance and $10.00 per non-student person at the door. Contact us at muhillel@muhillel.org or call (513) 523-5190.

Lunch with Rose Kowel, program assistant for KESHER (the Reform Movement's College organization). Friday, October 10, 12:00 pm at Hillel. She'll fill you in on the national events that are coming up this fall, such as KESHER Convention at the UAHC Biennial, and birthright israel. She'll brainstorm
ways to pump up Reform programming at MU's Hillel, hear your needs for Jewish life on campus, and to give you the scoop on KESHER's many helpful resources.

CONFERENCE, CONCERT, and COLLOQUIUM:
Seeds of the Sun, the renowned Israeli Jazz Ensemble, returns to Cincinnati for a concert at Rockdale Temple on Sunday, October 26 at 7:30 pm. The concert is FREE. Contact muhillel@muhillel.org if you are interested in attending.

Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion's Fall College Colloquium

I am looking for residence for Tues & Wed nights because I live 45 min from campus and I don't want to travel in the winter months.
