Israel Government Fellows Program
The Israel Government Fellows Program is a MASA program initiative of the Menachem Begin Heritage Center for exceptional professionals and graduate students seeking an engaging and rewarding experience in the Israeli government. Combining fellowships in Israeli government offices with educational programming, the IGF Program is the only gateway for non-Israelis to work within the Israeli government apparatus.
The program consists of a three-week orientation seminar, followed by a five-month fellowship experience. Each fellow will work closely with a government official in a Ministry or other government branch, depending upon the Fellow's particular interests.
Fellows will participate in seminars in which they will meet with Israeli officials, policy makers, journalists and a wide range of influential public figures. Other program elements include Hebrew language classes, mentoring sessions, traveling throughout the country and cultural activities.
This prestigious program is demanding and requires Fellows to fully commit to the fellowship placements and programming. Applicants should demonstrate their passion for Israel, politics and leadership.

LIFE - Leading International-Israeli Fellowship Experience.
LIFE is a new initiative of Brit Olam (World Alliance) and MASA (Israel Journey).
LIFE is a joint Jewish-Israeli humanitarian project that gives young Jews the opportunity to practice Tikun Olam hands on.
In this project 15 young adults will join 15 Israelis to create a group that learn volunteer and develop leadership skills that can be implemented in their home based communities.
It's an eight month long journey which is divided into three parts:
Part one The participants undergo 4 months of volunteering, studying, training, leadership and group-building in Israel, creating a close social knit and networking within the group while fostering close ties to Israel, and exposure to its social change community
Part two - Participants volunteer in a humanitarian project in a developing country for 3 months, gaining valuable experience in hands-on relief work
Part three - One month wrap-up, evaluation and assessment, as well as placing the emphasis on the implementation of their skills onto life.
LIFE starts in June 2008, and we have started our application process on October 1st 2007.
This program is one of a kind in the Jewish world and we need your help in advertising this program among your students.
