A message from our President, Eric Glassman

Welcome everyone!

My name is Eric Glassman, and I’m thrilled to serve as the President of Hillel. I am a junior studying finance and previously served as Hillel’s Treasurer. Since my first year, I have valued the community found at Hillel and have sought to support our students.

I’m pleased to warmly welcome our incoming and returning students, families, and community members. Hillel can be many things: a home away from home, a community center, or a place to explore your Jewish identity.

I believe in fostering a sense of belonging and pride at Hillel, and I am more excited to work with our student leaders, staff, stakeholders, and community to bring the best to our students.

L’Shalom,

Eric Glassman

Jewish Life at Miami University Begins Here.

Hillel at Miami University is the center of Jewish life on campus in Oxford, Ohio. Our mission as an organization is to engage, connect, and empower Jewish students at Miami University. Encouraging exploration of student Jewish identity, creating a vibrant Jewish community, and inspiring the next generation of Jewish leaders is at the heart and soul of what we do here at Hillel.

Welcome from the Executive Director

We are so thrilled to welcome you to Hillel at Miami University. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our partner organization, The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, we were able to open the doors to our Hillel building after nearly a year of being closed due to COVID. Upon receiving a COVID relief grant from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, we were able to thoroughly clean our building per CDC guidelines and to the standard of Miami University.

We’re So Excited You’re Here.

Enjoy our welcome back to campus video, made by our student interns! We are so excited to welcome our new and returning students. Make sure to check out the welcome message from our new Executive Director, Whitney Fisch!
